With a non-glare, antistatic, antireflection screen, this flat square 17" monitor (15.7" viewable area) provides the image clarity and resolution required for demanding applications. The VL700 monitor is designed to meet customer requirements for performance and image quality at a price that's unmatched in the industry. It is compatible with most PC systems, offering maximum resolution of 1280x1024 and recommended resolution of 1024x768 at 75 Hz. The VL700 also supports 640x480 pixel format for the Macintosh II family as well as the Macintosh Quadra, Centris, LC and Performa series. In addition, it supports the higher resolution 832x624 pixel Macintosh format at 75 Hz.

First off I would like to start by saying this monitor is great! What they mean by flat screen, is it's a flat screen.....there is no curve on the screen like most monitors have. I have nothing but good to say about this monitor. I have had it for one year and counting now. Sure its heavy but hey I need the lifting skills.....for the price of one of those cool looking FLAT SCREEN monitors compared to the price of this monitor, hey all that money that I could of spent on one of those expensive ones, I spent on something that is way more worth while. Overall I would have to give this monitor a A+.

I bought this monitor and it works absolutely fine. I mean looking at the other stuff, I believe this one stands better and same performance. I think, I got the best at a reasonable price.

Wow, what a total disappointment. This is NOT a flat screen monitor. It's a great price for a 17" monitor, but it is not what was promised. I will be sending this back first thing in the morning!!!
