The Netfinity FC Hot-Swap HDD provides the highest level of performance of all Netfinity FC HDD options. It is an excellent solution where maximum bandwidth for streaming data transfers are required. This HDD has dramatically improved seek times and average latency. These performance improvements are implemented without compromising reliability as the drive has similar power and cooling characteristics as the predecessor 10, 000 rpm drives. The drive is pre-mounted on a hot-swap tray that supports installation in either a Netfinity FAST EXP500 or IBM FAST 200 Storage Servers.
