The Prego 115 is a 35mm fully automatic lens shutter camera with built-in 38-115 power zoom lens, F/3.9-10.8 (seven element six group). The camera features Programmed AE electronic focusing with a shutter speed range of 1/3-1/400 second and bulb mode for exposures from .5-60. Anyone, whether beginner or experienced photographer, will find that the Prego 115 is simple to operate. Touching the camera release activates the computer assisted programmed exposure control. The correct shutter speed and aperture are set based on the available light. To achieve special effects, the photographer can modify the exposure at any time. In addition to a backlight compensation of +1.5 EV, the camera also allows exposure compensation of +/- 3 EV in half steps. The Prego 115 features an infrared autofocus system that ensures precise focusing from 0.5m to infinity. And, for times when the main subject is not in the center of the frame, focus lock is available. Exposure also is locked when you prefocus. The Rollei Prego 115 is equipped with a motorized film transport system, which automatically advances the film after each exposure. There is also a continuous exposure made for capturing sequences. The motor winds the film to the first frame after loading and then rewinds it at the end of the roll. The multi-functional flash of the Prego 115 automatically engages when the power is turned on. Seven different flash modes including auto, flash off, fill in flash (daylight and night modes) red eye reduction etc. are controlled by the on board electronics to offer additional light control under a wide variety of shooting situations. And, a fast recharge time enables the user to capture precious moments as they happen. An advanced message imprinting function - choose from seven different messages - allows you to personalize your photos. The Prego 115 is equipped with a data system that can also put the date or time directly on your photos.
