This lens gives you the ability to capture your shots the way you want them with the simple touch of a button. You can zoom in for an intimate close-up or zoom out to capture the entire group. The I Zoom 3000 also gives you three print options, C (classic), H (HDTV), and P (panorama), so you can truly capture any scene in its entirety. You can switch formats at any time on a roll of film.
The built-in flash includes settings for red-eye reduction, fill-in, flash-off, and night scene, ensuring that your image is always perfectly exposed--whatever the lighting conditions. This easy-to-hold camera sports a metal front cover giving it an attractive look and feel. It is compact and lightweight, measuring in at about the dimensions of a credit card and weighing just under five ounces, making it extremely portable.
To further improve the quality of your images, Olympus uses Print Quality Improvement to record shooting data, including exposure and aperture settings, onto a magnetic strip on your film. When you take your film to your photofinisher, they use the recorded data to make sure your prints look their best. For your own records, the I Zoom 3000 comes with a time/date stamp, so you can record one of the following on the back of your images: no data, year-month-day, month-day-year, day-month-year, and hour-minute; this camera has an automatic calendar through the year 2049.
