The high quality Carl Zeiss Tessar T 35mm f/3.5 lens delivers images that have pinpoint sharpness, clarity, high contrast/color and natural color balance. The lens retracts so it is easy to carry in pocket or purse.The camera has an advanced 160-step, "3-beam" active infrared AF system that ensures extra sharp focusing. The system controls the focusing range that goes from a close-up 13-3/4" to infinity. Even if the center beam were to pass between two subjects, the other beams will sense the correct focus and adjust the camera.The Yashica T4 offers photographers a wide range of automatic shutter speeds for greater creativity. The camera also has automatic backlight compensation that makes shooting in difficult condition easier. The AE systems make it easier to get the best possible exposure in all types of lighting conditions from bright sunlight to deep shade.
