An optional 20-speed CD-ROM Drive for the Actius A100 and A150 is available for loading software, running multimedia presentations, and many additional applications. Sharp's drive connects via the PC Card slot and works at full speed when connected to AC power. The unit also operates at a power-efficient 12-speed (maximum) when running off main unit power.
