This external SCSI CD-RW drive from QPS delivers fast 40x read, 16x write, and 10x rewrite speeds for storing data or audio on high-capacity CDs. Compatible with both PCs and Macs, the drive features an Ultra SCSI interface providing burst transfer rates of 20 MBps, 140-millisecond average access times, and a generous 4 MB buffer.
In addition to the fast burst rates and large buffer, internal cooling, vibration dampening, and synchronous data transfer increase efficiency and ensure reliable CD writing. Bundled software enables you to use your drive for drag-and-drop data file transfer and for creating custom music CDs quickly and easily, making it an excellent tool for desktop publishing, data archiving, and MIDI and recording studios.
