The Memorex FourtyMAXX Drive is a new-generation half-height 5.25" CD-Recordable/ReWritable drive with the popular IDE interface. The drive is in fact a multi-function device, since it can be used as a fast CD-ROM reader (up to 48x speed), a 40x speed CD-Recorder, e.g. to record your own CDs or Audio-CDs and a 12x speed CD-ReWritable device to use as your personal storage medium, by using Incremental Packet Writing.The Memorex FourtyMAXX Drive is the ideal tool for publishing large amounts of data in compact form on CD. The Incremental Packet Writing function will make this drive attractive to the general desktop PC user for personal data storage.
