The JVC EXD5 Micro Executive Stereo System creates a full, rich, powerful home theater experience thanks to the speakers' birchwood cones, which help provide a natural resonance and ideal acoustic characteristics. The speakers are housed in beautifully finished, solid cherry wood cabinets. The EXD5 provides musical freedom and simplicity through wireless connectivity that enables the unit to accept an audio stream delivered by a computer to virtually any location inside your home or office. You can also connect virtually any USB-ready computer or audio device through the system's USB port.

This system delivers delivers 18 watts per channel (two channels) and a single-disc DVD player that's compatible with a wide variety of disc and file formats, including DVD-Audio, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, SVCD/VCD, MP3, WMA, and JPEG.

The EXD5 offers Dolby Digital and DTS decoding as well as a 24-bit/196 MHz audio DAC (digital to analog converter) and 10-bit/54 MHz video DAC. Other features include electronic bass/treble controls, programming for up to 99 tracks, sleep timer, wake-up volume, and a built-in radio tuner with 30 FM and 15 AM station memory.
