The KDS VS-555 digital monitor offers ample screen space for its size and is ideal for anyone who deals primarily with text-based applications. Part of the Visual Sensations line of displays, its 15-inch antireflective coated screen provides a viewable area of 13.8 inches, while its 0.28 millimeter dot pitch offers crisp text.

The VS-555 offers a 1,024 x 768 maximum resolution at 60 Hz with an optimum resolution of 800 x 600 at a flicker-free 85Hz. Its horizontal scanning frequency is 30 to 55 kHz with a vertical scanning frequency of 50 to 120 Hz. Digital controls include contrast, brightness, horizontal and vertical size and position, color, and more. Its multilanguage onscreen display provides convenient programming. The monitor's plug-and-play setup couldn't be simpler.

Standards include EPA Energy Star Compliant power management and MPR II compliance for low emissions.

Great performance and affordable.......2003-10-08

Purchased this as a second home monitor about a year ago, and we have had no problems with it. The flat front compliments the monitors appearance, the colors appear just as they as supposed to, and the adjustment buttons are located right in the front for easy access.

A Real Lemon!.......2002-04-06

The price is real nice, but you get what you pay for. Unable to adjust the color and tint. After just 4 months, my color started to flicker in and out. At 5 months, all true color was gone. Mostly orange and light blue. It will make a nice boat anchor.
