It's compatible with DVD-Video, audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3-encoded music discs. You can even enjoy an onscreen slideshow of your cherished digital photos from recordable CDs filled with JPEG image files. The player comes with cables for hooking it up at home for use as a high-quality video source with your television or other entertainment gear.
The D1712 also comes with an AC adapter and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides around 2 hours of playback (power consumption depends on the operations of the player, such as screen brightness, volume level, etc). Perfect for road use, D1712's vehicle DC power adapter helps you save batteries on long trips. Listen through the unit's built-in stereo speakers or through stereo headphones (not included).
