Virtual 3D sound simulates enveloping surround sound from any two speakers when you're using the set's analog audio outputs, or you can go for the real thing--Dolby Digital and DTS discrete surround--by hooking the unit's digital-audio output up with a compatible audio/video surround receiver and speaker system for true, 5.1-channel digital excitement.
The built-in four-head, hi-fi VCR offers quasi-S-VHS playback (playing S-VHS tapes at VHS resolution) and it accommodates all three standard playback speeds (EP, LP, and SP) and records in the now-standard EP and SP formats (six and two hours, respectively).
