    I am interested in tmobile for use internationally. However, when I checked the website I did find information on unlocking phones. YOu must own your phone and have tmobile service for 90 days and then you can call and they will give you the unlock code. Havent' done it yet, but that's what they say and also what a store service rep told me.

    I have a PEBL phone, tried to use it in Europe with European SIM cards and wasn't able to BECAUSE THIS PHONE IS LOCKED!!! NOWHERE on the T Mobile site could I find an explanation of how to unlock it, PLUS I asked at several stores before I left for Europe if there was anything that I needed to do before travelling. I was assured that it was ready to use, but no. IN addition, when I contacted T-mobile when I was in Europe, they were unable to help me. I am really happy with the phone service provided in the USA but as for their support, ability to cope with the fact that there ARE other countries in the world....
    I bought a PEBL phone because I thought I could use it abroad. Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my money.
