At an appealing price, the Apex AD-1200 DVD player accommodates a range of media formats: DVD-Video, CD, MP3 CD, and even JPEG image and Kodak Picture CDs. For audio connections, you get one set of left/right analog outputs for compatibility with Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. This unit also supports both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel formats through a single coaxial digital-audio output for direct connection to a surround-decoding AV receiver. The back panel offers one output for S-video and two standard composite-video outputs in case you'd like to channel one output into a different room.

A screen saver keeps paused images from burning into your television if your viewing is interrupted, and parental controls help you keep the kids away from mature-content discs (high shelves are useful, too). Picture zoom (2x, 4x) lets you focus on scenes in greater detail, and the unit's fluorescent video display is snazzy and easy to read. The box includes the DVD player, a full-featured remote control, an owner's manual, a stereo analog audio/composite-video interconnect, and two AA batteries.

Not bad for a cheap phone.......2005-12-18

I got this phone from Verizon when I first got my plan almost 2 years ago. It's about time for me to renew, and I'm relieved, because I don't know how much is because of the phone itself, the battery, or living so close to an airport, but I have had a lot of dropped calls, in spite of regular updating of programming. I also use it a lot, so I'm looking forward to replacing it.

If you are looking for an inexpensive phone without a lot of frills, and especially if it's only for basic or infrequent use, I think you'll like it, but if you need more, keep looking and be prepared to pay more for what you want. Generally, you get what you pay for.
