This unit also offers headphone jacks--the only model at this price to do so, and the only model we've heard of to offer two jacks, each with its own volume control. Perfect for late-night movie viewing when everyone else is asleep.
An S-video output accommodates newer televisions, while standard composite-video is also available. Besides DVDs and CDs, this deck can also play video CDs and Super Video CDs, lower-resolution video formats popular in Asia and, with the proliferation of VCD encoding software, taking hold in the U.S. as well. Using your computer, you can copy your home movies to VCD and watch them on the DVG-3000N.
