The Apex AD-1201 is a multiformat DVD player that's compatible with DVD movie and CD music discs, CD-R/RW discs with MP3 audio files, and Kodak picture CDs (to view JPEG images from your digital camera). You can connect the AD-1201 to a stereo receiver with a Dolby Digital/DTS decoder for cinema-quality surround sound.

The AD-1201 has fast-forward (2x, 4x, 8x, 20x speeds) and slow-motion (1/2, 1/4, 1/6, and 1/7 speeds) modes, as well as the ability to return to the same disc location if you continue playback after stopping. Other features include picture zoom, enhancing video effects (such as to sharpen/soften the edges), and ordering of chapters or audio tracks into playlists. With a Kodak Picture CD, you can show a photo slideshow (with 12 transition modes) to your friends and family.

It features 1 coaxial output, 2 composite-video outputs, 1 composite-audio output, and 1 S-video output.

This product had very little reviews about it when I bought it, but they were all positive. Took a risk and bought it. I am very happy to report that it works flawlessly, and that it is really compact and easy to use.

Don't get fooled by the fact that it isn't a brand name, it is much cheaper and much more compact than competing and branded products.

Strongly recommended.

it lasted a month, the harddrive lasted a little longer than the case... i can't get a refund cause i already open it... i guess you get what you pay for

Simply plug it in and it works perfectly! I have 5 computers and I can easily back up anything from either computer with this portable HD! Very happy with it!

Do NOT buy this drive.......2006-09-17

I purchased this drive to back up music and chose it because the customer reviews seemed to say that it was a reliable buy. THEY WERE WRONG!!!! After backing up my entire 300GB music collection from several drives to THIS drive it failed. Unlike an earlier customer, I was able to find technical support and discovered from their website that failure is not an uncommon thing for this item. I don't know how many of these things they produced but the QC ratio must be horrible, if one were to take the list of complaints as a guide. I requested a repair sheet and asked that they recover my data. Their reply is "we will do our best but that is another industry." Needless to say, I will have to start ripping my cd's all over again, although many of the songs may be lost forever. THANK YOU CAVALRY. As a Soldier in Iraq for the FOURTH time, my music was about all i had of home. DON'T BUY THIS DRIVE.
