Aiwa's XD-DV380 DVD player allows users to enjoy watching and listening to various media. This compact DVD player can play back CD-R/RW recorded in MP3 format in addition to DVD video, video CD, and music CD. It reproduces high-quality DVD sound and video images through its digital audio output terminal that's compatible with Dolby Digital/DTS and a component video output terminal. What's more, the XD-DV380 also features the 3D Surround acoustic sound system, which is so realistic you'll feel you're actually present with the action or music.

Aiwa's XD-DV380 DVD player is an excellent audio and video component. Combining a 10-bit video digital-to-analog converter and 96 kHz, 24-bit audio digital-to-analog converter, the XD-DV380 conveys a sharp, colorful picture along with accurate sound reproduction. Component- and S-video outputs provide the best color separation and video quality on compatible TVs, while optical and coaxial digital-audio outputs pass Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound to a surround-decoding receiver. Sound is also delivered through two analog audio jacks.
The XD-DV380 features Aiwa's 3D Surround system, which simulates a four-speaker array through only two speakers, be they part of a mini component system or integrated TV speakers.
Playback options include still and frame stepping, four slow-motion settings, chapter/title search, and four scan speeds (up to 100 times faster than normal play).
The XD-DV380 can also be used as a full-function CD player, supporting audio CDs, CD-R, and MP3-formatted discs.
