The five-disc HT-DB600 is a complete source for digital disc media like DVD-Video, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) CD, and Kodak Picture CD/JPEG CD. The speaker system offers 80 watts per channel to each of five satellites (left, center, right, and left/right surround), while the subwoofer packs an impressive 100 watts.

All major movie surround signals are decoded here and routed to their appropriate speakers: Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS 5.1-channel surround sound. The system includes an AM/FM radio tuner with 30 preset memory settings, and a headphone jack for private or late-night listening. Virtual headphone surround simulates movies' home-theater effects in your headphones (not included).

The system's progressive-scan component-video output prepares you for the future, with the ability to use the system in conjunction with a high-definition or HD-ready television.
