Attractive and Portable External Drive.......2007-02-16

The LaCie brick drive enclosures are built from sturdy materials, apparently plastic top and sides over a metal case. The large rubber feet keep the relatively small device in place on most surfaces as well. The drive itself is fairly quite and being buss-powered, it is also very portable.

The unit includes LaCie's own back-up software for both PC and the mac. Using the mac version in a single test, I had no trouble backing up a 30GB drive on my wife's PPC iBook.
