A full-featured entertainment center doesn't have to fill a living room. Sylvania's three-in-one SSC719C makes it easy to watch TV, record broadcasts, play VHS cassettes, and enjoy high-quality DVDs and music CDs.

The compact unit sports a 19-inch-diagonal screen. Its DVD player supports a variety of formats, including DVD-Video, CD, CD-RW, CD-R, and MP3-encoded CD. The V-Chip parental guidance system helps keeps young eyes off mature content. Basic features include still-frame, slow motion, and frame advance, while high-speed search scan makes hunting out your favorite scene a cinch. Other features include zoom, auto power off, parental lock, and Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround sound output (for use with a compatible audio/video receiver).

The SSC719C also offers a full-featured 4-head hi-fi VCR with auto repeat, auto rewind and eject, and an auto head cleaner Front AV input jacks accommodate hookup of a camcorder, gaming console, or second VCR, while a headphone jack facilitates private listening. Other connections include a rear stereo analog-audio output and coaxial digital-audio output for the DVD player. The unit comes with a remote control.
