I used this item with my Nokia 7610, one of the few phones that still take an RS-MMC. It worked fine with the phone. No lagging or slowing down. 512mb is a lot of memory. I couldn't even take enough pictures on my 1.3 megapixel phone camera to fill this card up. So, it's good for phones with a decent camera and for people who like having more than enough money, but not spending too much money.
