The HTPC-DVD shelftop unit is the perfect HTPC for high-end home theater videophile looking for the best DVD picture quality possible combined with the ease-of-use of a standalone DVD player. The HTPC-DVD features 10-bit video DACs, integrated iDCT, gamma control, custom video timings, and motion compensation processing. The Clarity Video Enhancement Circuit lowers the video noise floor by applying a greatly improved series of RF filters. With its own separate isolated switching power supply, the circuit is isolated from the spurious noise from other components. The outputs of the circuit are true 75-ohm 5-BNC RGBHV connectors. The circuit improves the signal on any cables greater than 1 ft in length up to 60-feet of high-quality cable! We professionally ISF calibrate your video output so you can be assured of accurate grayscale and color rendition. You can choose whether you would like us to calibrate the black level to 7.5 IRE (NTSC/ DVD) or 0 IRE (ATSC/ HDTV) standards. Custom timings and resolutions are available for DILA, DLP, LCD, Plasma, and CRT display devices. Each resolution comes on a separate CD that you just insert to install. We can always send you a new CD or provide a download site if you change your display in the future. After you place your order, we will contact you for information on your display. Included is a wireless infrared remote with positionable receiving eye. All typical DVD functions available including Play, Pause, Stop, FF, REW, Chapter Skip Forward and Back, Eject, and Aspect Ratio. A Philips Pronto CCF is also available.
