A great choice for smaller rooms or apartments, the 20-inch Akai LCT2016 LCD television provides vividly colorful images from standard and high-definition television programming as well as DVD movies. You can also use it as a computer monitor with its VGA 15-Pin D-sub input. This LCD TV has a 450 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating and 500:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) It has a 640 x 480-pixel VGA resolution and 120-degree vertical/160-degree vertical viewing angles.

It includes two 2-watt speakers (for a total of 4 watts of power) along the sides. Connections include:

This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections.
