The uniquely sculpted style and incredible image quality of AQUOS TV offers an exciting alternative to traditional TV and makes a dramatic statement about your style and good taste as well. It has an integrated a pair of stereo speakers into the graceful one-piece design, for a sound as clear as the picture. Energy-efficient Aquos TVs also consume 60 percent less power than comparably-sized direct-view tube TVs.

This EDTV (Enhanced Definition TV) set is capable of displaying not only television signals in 480p (480-pixel progressive) but also from video sources such as progressive-scan DVD players. This offers a far better resolution and picture than playing a DVD through an interlaced video screen from a standard CRT set.

The 3D Y/C digital comb filter constantly analyzes the three dimensions of picture height, picture width, and picture changes-over-time, to reduce dramatically edge image artifacts while improving transition detail. The superb LCD-panel technology reduces glare and provides bright and vivid pictures. This set also offers a multi-region color system (PAL, SECAM, NTSC).
