Sharp's LC-20SH1U provides a slim, versatile television solution. The LC-20SH1U uses the world's most successful LCD panel, Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View/Black TFT panel, which provides high brightness, a high contrast ratio, low reflection glare protection and wide viewing angles. The LC-20SH1U also features speakers positioned below the LCD screen, making the TV much narrower and therefore able to fit in many places in the home. Other features include:

Built-in 181-channel tuner (all VHF/UHF channels plus up to 125 cable channels) allows you to plug your cable TV line right into the TV and start watching.
High brightness rating (420 cd/m2) allows you to place the television anywhere -- even near windows, doors or other light sources -- and the picture will still be vivid.
500:1 contrast ratio provides incredible images whether you're watching dark or bright scenes.
170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles are so wide you can view the television from anywhere in the room.

It offers two built-in stereo speakers that provide 1 watt of power per channel (for 2 watts of total power), and it includes inputs for composite A/V (RCA plugs), S-Video, and component video

Component Video Input: You'll get great picture reproduction from compatible DVD players or cable/satellite set-top boxes using the three-jack component video (Y/Pb/Pr) output, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections.
