Customer Reviews:
Nice Case!.......2006-11-21
I used this for over a year and I was pleased. Eventually the plastic clip broke from normal use and I was unable to clip it to my belt, but the clip is completely removeable and I continue to use the case to protect my Treo. I was even able to remove the plastic knob on the back of the case without damaging it, because the "scuba" rubber stretches so nicely. The case fits perfectly and because it has some "give" it is very easy to slip the phone in and out. The device is held in the case by a strap that wraps around the attenae and snaps onto the case. If you use SD cards with your Treo, the strap patially obstructs the card opening so you need to undo the strap to get the card in or out. I never had to undo the strap because the rubber stretches nicely, so when I want to remove the device from the case, or use an SD card, I just slip the strap off and pull out the device or insert/remove the card. The plastic covering works well. I never had trouble using the keys, but using the pen through the plastic may require re-configuring the screen settings and I still have some trouble using the pen on the edges of the screen. Just go through the "tap" sequence with the case on the device and the screen adjusts. Or, if you use the pen on the screen extensively, it's easy to pull the device out of the case as I mentioned. Until the clip broke, it worked very well and I was able to detach the phone quickly. As with all detachable clips, the case doesn't "hug" your body like a case with a non-detachable clip. Extended use also caused the clip to lose some "friction" so the case swiveled with normal movement. If not for the clip, I would rate this with five stars. If you don't want to use the clip at all, this is an excellent 5-star soft protector case.
