Upgrade your family's TV to amazingly crisp and vibrant high definition television programming without breaking the bank with the HD-ready, 30-inch Coby TFTV3005 LCD TV. It features a standard, 181-channel NTSC tuner, but is fully capable of high-definition display when connected to an optional HDTV source (compatible with 720p and 1080i). It comes with a table stand, but can be easily wall-mounted with optional hardware.

This set features a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for optimal viewing of high-def programming and DVD movies, as well as a 1280 x 768-pixel resolution, 140-degree horizontal viewing angle, 500 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 500:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) This set includes two integrated stereo speakers that provide 8 watts of power per channel (for 16 total watts of power). It provides the following connections:

Great for the price!.......2006-04-11

I got this monitor for use at work mostly because it was really cheap compared to other 19" LCDs (especially with the rebate) and it seemed to have good specs. To be honest I am really surprised at how good it actually is (again, especially for the price).

I would not get this monitor for my home PC only because it does not have a DVI input, but my work PC does not support DVI anyway so no big deal. Other than that, it is great! No dead pixels and fast delivery through Amazon/Tiger Direct.
