What I don't like about the Dell notebooks is that the keys are crammed together which will slow down anyone who does a lot of typing. The other drawback is that the Delete, backspace, etc. keys are in strange places making one stop typing and look for the keys. I got so fed up that I gave my Dell notebook away, and bought a Sony, which I am very happy with.

This laptop is so heavy!! I bought it to write my Master's thesis and within the first three months the LCD screen cracked under the front clasp. I spent hours on the phone with the Indian customer service people who politely referred me to the American manager, who made me feel horrible, accusing me of mishandling my laptop ( which was barely taken out of the house!) They claim the warrenty does not cover the screen, even though it is only a couple months old...I will never buy a Dell again.
