RCA's 27-inch, widescreen LCDX2722W will display standard-definition and high-definition television signals with resolutions ranging from standard 480i (interlaced) to 480p, 720p (progressive), and full 1080i. For high-definition signals, connect the set to an optional DTV set-top box, or use it with your progressive-scanning (480p) DVD player.

The screen itself is a mere .25 inches wide, and RCA's Bi-Sonic speakers flank the widescreen display for spacious sound with wide stereo separation. The set's 170-degree viewing angles ensure amazing picture quality from virtually any location, so the whole family can savor the set's rich images. The LCDX2722W's CinemaScreen high-gloss black chassis lets the set disappear into the darkness of your living room, leaving only the brilliant, high-contrast (500:1) screen for theater-like nighttime movie viewing.

With a native resolution of 1,280 x 720, the set is equipped to display both standard- and high-definition signals (480p, 720p, and 1080i).
