The portable RCA L4000BC offers a bright, clear picture on a compact 4-inch screen. Whether at the beach or at work, this minisized set offers a discreet way to stay on top of your favorite TV programs.

A retractable antenna helps receive broadcast UHF and VHF signals. Depending on the viewing environment, you can adjust the brightness to make the picture more visible. This feature is a must if you plan to watch TV outside.

We found this palm-sized set produces a good picture--but at a price. As with all battery-powered portable TVs, the RCA L4000BC is a real battery drainer. It requires nine AA batteries, which under normal conditions will last about five hours. Fortunately, this unit comes with both an AC adapter and car adapter.

The RCA L4000BC is comparable in price and quality to other portable color TVs of the same size. If having a brand name is important to you, then this RCA TV will fit the bill.
