The LC-20A2U with built-in cable TV tuner is merely 5 cm (2") deep with a screen that measures 20". And, coupled with high brightness and an extraordinarily wide viewing angle, the LC-20A2U is suitable for many rooms in the house. Included with the TV are three different color speaker grill covers (black, blue and red) to match your decor. With the optional AN-LCVM20 mounting bracket, you can hang the TV on a wall. It features a 20" Advanced LCD Panel, the Sharp's biggest 4: 3 LCD-TV for the best viewing of the big picture! With the Built-in 181-Channel Tuner just plug your cable TV line right into the TV and start watching. Sharp has the brightest LCDs available, so you can put them anywhere - even near windows, doors or other light sources - and their picture will still be vivid. The 240: 1 Contrast Ratio ensures top picture quality. Sharp's LCD backlight life is enough to give you viewing pleasure for many years, and 9, 000K Color Temperature gives the warmest reds and blues. The LC-20A2U TFT active-matrix LCD monitor is stunning at less than 2 inches deep. It offers a high-quality, 20-inch screen, and its high brightness (360 cd/m2) makes it one of the brightest available TV monitors, so it can be put anywhere and its picture will remain vivid, even near windows, doors, or other light sources. And, with its 40,000-hour lamp life, Sharp's LCD backlight life is long enough to give viewing pleasure for years. A built-in 181-channel tuner lets you plug a cable TV signal right into the LC-20A2U and start watching, and its 240:1 contrast ratio provides great images whether they're dark or brightly lit scenes. Two detachable 2.6-watt speakers frame the unit on either side for stereo sound; the speaker grille comes in black, blue, and red.

Connections accommodate camcorders, VCRs, DVD players, and satellite systems, with one each component-video, S-video, and composite-video inputs, and one set of left-right analog audio outputs (for use with the internal VHF-UHF tuner). When muted, the set automatically displays closed captioning. Image inverter steps in to flip the image upside down if you need to hang it in an unconventional manner. The 160-by-160-degree viewing angles are so wide that the monitor is viewable from anywhere in the room.

Sharp LCD displays are energy efficient, requiring 44 percent less power than comparable CRT monitors, and they provide low EMI emissions, and immunity to RF interference. They also offer exceptional picture clarity and detail, free of flickering, image burn-in, and ghosting.
