The compact 6615LD houses a 15-inch LCD screen with a slim, 2.1-inch profile and an internal NTSC tuner for convenient broadcast-television viewing with features like auto channel presets, last-channel recall, V-Chip parental control, SAP (second audio program), and closed-caption decoding. Image quality is enhanced by a digital comb filter, high brightness (450 candles/square meter), a lightning-quick response time of 16 ms, and wide (170 x 155-degrees) viewing angles.

Two elliptical speakers radiate stereo sound from either side of the screen. For connections, you get three composite-video inputs for a DVD player, VCR, or other audio/video device, one S-video input, and convenient front-panel jacks to accommodate camcorders and video game systems.

The onboard 181-channel tuner offers PLL frequency-synthesized tuning, picture controls (contrast, brightness, color, tint, and game mode), and you can access its handy onscreen menu from the TV's front panel or from the supplied full-function remote control.

Auto sleep timer/power off saves energy after a preset period of inactivity, while resume power-on will recall the set's power state following a brief power outage. The 6615LD is Energy Star-compliant.

Hard Drive: The extra large 200 GB Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive (7200 RPM) offers a wealth of storage space, perfect for storing a vast multimedia collection or for editing digital video. Processor: Sitting in the upper quarter of the speed spectrum for this processor class, the hyper-threading 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 620 processor provides powerfully speedy support for your multimedia needs. It also features a very fast 800 MHz front-side bus speed, which measures how fast a processor and the main memory communicate, and a 1 MB L2 cache. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance.)

A hyperthreading processor helps a PC run several demanding applications at the same time. This technology enables the processor to execute two threads (parts of a program) in parallel, boosting performance during key high-drain procedures. This results in more efficient software performance, such as faster reaction times in gaming applications, and enhanced multitasking.

I've had many computers and I work in the IT area at my company, we even have an enterprise agreement with the current top computer company. We also have an employee discount program with that company but even with that they couldn't touch this deal. Because of that and the fact that my husband has an older HP Pavillion that has been a work horse for him, never fails and has done a good job for him for a long time (I've been through two to his one) I decided to go with what works this time. I'm being very truthful when I say I wasn't expecting the quality and performance that I got with this computer. I'm super impressed and extremely happy with it. I'd recommend this to anyone, and Amazon definitely has the best price and fast delivery even though I chose the "free" option.
