This set enhances your viewing environment, too, using Philips' revolutionary Ambilight system, which lights the wall behind the television with soft colors designed to enhance your perception of any given scene.

The 32-inch set offers high brightness (500 cd/m2) and exemplary contrast (800:1), as well as a pair of integrated NTSC TV tuners for cable or broadcast reception of all your favorite programs and stations. Hook it up to an optional DTV receiver or progressive-scan DVD player and you'll enjoy vivid, detailed images from 1080i, 720p, 576p, and 480p sources, which render at up to 720p native resolution on the set's native 1,366 x 768-pixel screen.
