Good price for a good product.......2007-01-19

When my 'A' drive crashed on the desktop, I ordered this and it continues to do a very good job. Would suggest that you use a dedicated USB port versus a 'hub' shared with other USB peripherals; if you MUST use a 'hub' consider using one that is powered by itself. The ONLY reason is loses a 'star' is because sometimes the labels on a floppy will not have the stickiness needed to stay adhered - and it can prevent ejection; easy solution - have some tweezers around to help get the floppy out!

Diablotek external USB floppy drive.......2006-11-04

The floppy disk drive works just great and it is perfect for my needs. New computers don't have the floppy drive anymore and sometimes some people still need the drive like I do and this one is just right . It just sits on top of the computer tower and looks perfect and matches the rest of the items around it .

Does not work with Macs.......2006-08-04

I gave this three stars because I really don't know how it works. I bought this for a mac ibook g4. The box does say mac, but the paperwork inside only says windows. It did not work with my ibook g4.
