The stainless-steel-tinted HDTV-ready television turns heads with its physical beauty while offering scintillating images via its PC, high-definition, and standard-definition inputs.
Elegantly designed with a trio of interlocking parallel-mounted EPSON 1.2-inch poly-Si TFT LCD panels, the DSJ-6000LN is capable of imparting a combined picture resolution of 2.76 million pixels, ensuring video with extraordinary brightness (500 cd/m2) and contrast (500:1). Thanks to its superior LCD components, you'll enjoy broad, 160-degrees viewing angles for optimal viewing from nearly anywhere in the room.
The bright LCD delivers HDTV video in its native 720 progressive display format but offers an integrated standard-definition digital comb filter to seamlessly scale from 720p to 480p or full 1080i. The DSJ-6000LN, which received a celebrated Innovations 2002 award for design and engineering from the Consumer Electronics Association, boasts an integrated NTSC tuning system with 99-channel memory and 4 picture modes for playback of DTV content in 16:9, 4:3, panorama, zoom 1, or zoom 2 formats.
Your TV broadcasts, VHS movies, and DVD-Videos will also sound great. The set offers Dolby Pro Logic audio processing and a 3-speaker array (front left, right, and center). Hook up surround speakers and even a subwoofer via the set's rear-panel speaker-level outputs, and tailor the character of the sound to your preference using the onboard 5-band graphic equalizer.
