Featuring the most advanced wireless connectivity options in its class, the CF-73 is a completely redesigned and technologically enhanced successor to the highly popular Toughbook CF-72.The Toughbook 73 provides heretofore unheard of connectivity and convenience options in an executive-class notebook computer. In the Toughbook tradition, the CF-73 is engineered and built by Panasonic to provide maximum reliability and performance for power users on mission-critical assignments. Business-ruggedization features include a full magnesium-alloy case manufactured in Panasonic's own state-of-the-art casting facility, a shock-mounted and isolated hard drive, a proprietary cooling system incorporating an optimized heat pipe and remote heat exchanger, reinforced USB and PC Card connectors, re-engineered and upgraded port covers, and protective ribs on the case bottom.A quick-release lever provides access to the unit's hard drive bay and makes user compliance with corporate and public-agency security regulations requiring separate storage for notebooks and data devices easier than ever before.
