If you want a cheap piece of plastic that will break apart and scratch your phone this is the product for you. Otherwise, pay the higher price for a better product

I like to keep my phone looking new and free of scratches and wear marks, so for me, a case of some sort is essential. The PEBL seems to have stumped everyone. I bought this shell from another vendor.... same design, same cut outs.... I put it on my phone and was instantly pleased. I could 'slide' my phone once again! (I couldn't with the previous case.) I reasoned in my head that this case SHOULD prove to be reasonably sturdy, seeing as how the shapeof the phone is very regular and ovaloid....
I was wrong. One day, no kidding, one day of (gentle)use and my shell was already cracking. They appear to be stress cracks, as if the shell is not quite shaped right. I am continuing to use this case, it is cracked, but still functional.... I hope to find another solution before it cracks all the way through.
