Creative NOMAD allows you to customize your own digital music and audio content and take it anywhere you want. Mix your favorite selections by recording from your personal CD collection or downloading MP3 files from the Internet, and transfer them directly to your player. You can even add Environmental Effects to your recordings with a Sound Blaster card. Creative NOMAD is also a digital voice recorder. You can use it as a Dictaphone to take notes, record a message to a friend or colleague, and upload it directly to your PC. The NOMAD II is upgradeable. Its reprogrammable firmware is designed to support multiple digital audio formats and software extensions. NOMAD II is flexible enough to support future audio compression standards and also WMA (Windows Media Audio) management technology. It incorporates large, icon-based LCD screen with backlight for easy viewing in any environment. Wired remote control gives quick access to playback controls during extreme activity. NOMAD II Manager Software allows you to manage, access, upload, and download content to your NOMAD II player in seconds. The famed Creative Digital Audio Center by MusicMatch allows users to encode, decode and archive high quality MP3 files and Windows Media files. It also allows users to convert an unlimited number of CD tracks and compile them according to preferences. SSFDC (Solid State Floppy Disk Card) compliant SmartMedia flash memory card allows audio content to be swapped with other SSFDC compliant devices without the need for reformatting. The NOMAD II is an SDMI (Secure Digital Music Initiative) ready device and ensures listeners play digital music in secure formats.This bundle also includes 64 MB of off-board memory (SmartMedia Card).

Not a great pen, but it's a pen.......2007-03-01

You're not going to get Rollerball or JetStream quality out of this, but when you need a pen and you don't have one, you'll be wishing your stylus had a little bitty thing in it, just to scrawl a note, a check, or a phone number. This will do it. I've used mine enough to know the little black tip on top will NOT wear out and slip off after too much friction against the tip.
