Problem Solved.......2007-06-11

I had a computer with a hard drive that was dying on me and no way to back up all the data, short of buying stock in a CD company. This external hard drive allowed me to send all the files over for storage. Yippee!!

Great backup device.......2007-05-24

My computer crashed and I lost all my files...no, I had not backed them up in the past 6 months prior. The Computer Nerd suggested the Maxtor, so I went straight to Amazon.com. It arrived, but I discovered it is not entirely user-friendly with Windows XP. I phoned my CN and he led me through the steps of changing the letter of the driver. I back up every weekend, but the downside is that it won't back up Outlook so I won't lose my Contacts and Calendar again. Nevertheless, I'm glad I have it!
