Just 14.2mm thick, the Trekstor i.Beat vision Depeche Mode is an extremely flat and dexterous multi-talented gadget. The crystal clear color display and ergonomic navigation with animated menu guidance provide for quick access to the stored multimedia files. The i.Beat vision Depeche Mode also comes with powerful software for converting existing video data into the employed MPEG4 format. The MPEG4 videos can then be played on the 1.3" TFT color LCD display with a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels and 262,000 brilliant colors. Additionally to supporting conventional MP3, WMA and OGG files, the i.Beat vision Depeche Mode further implements WMA DRM (Digital Rights Management) 9 format, often needed for playing songs purchased in the Internet. It can also play back videos, display JPEG photos, receive FM radio and be used as a dictation machine. The front of the player is adorned with the Depeche Mode Logo, while the rear of the stylish black and white player incorporates a miniature insignia of feathers embodying Mr. Feather from the band's most recent album, Playing the Angel. The player also includes the band's latest single, "Suffer Well" (in audio format).

Just 14.2mm (0.56 inches) thick, this amazingly small and flat all-entertainment player is compatible with MP3, WMA (and secure WMA-DRM9), OGG, and TOM audio files, JPEG photos, Text files, and video files encoded in the TOM (MPEG4) format. It features an extremely sharp 1.3-inch TFT LCD screen with 262,000 colors and a 160 x 120-pixel resolution. The 1 GB flash memory will hold approximately 16 hours of CD-quality MP3 tracks (encoded at 128 kbps) or 32 hours of WMA tracks (at 64 kbps); or 10 hours of video.
It also offers an integrated voice recorder and a built-in FM tuner with 24 presets and automatic station search and a record function from the radio. You can also record directly from an external source (such as a CD player or cassette deck) with the line-in jack (files are recorded in MP3 format). The USB host function (OTG, or on-the-go) enables you to connect to other peripherals, such as digital cameras, and copy files for backup storage or transfer over the high-speed USB 2.0 interface.
The SRS WOW setting provides impressive sound quality in surround sound. The i.Beat Vision also five predefined equalizers (jazz, classical, normal, pop, rock) as well as five user-defined equalizer settings. Other features include M3U playlist support, ID3 tag display, 10 repeat functions, digital clock (for time-controlled recording), and folder navigation. It's powered by a lithium-polymer battery that's charged via the USB connection, and it provides up to 10 hours of continuous play. The player is compatible with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux operating systems.
