The Zen Micro digital music player from Creative Labs packs an incredible 5 GB of storage capacity into a shell small enough to sit comfortably in your jeans pocket. It also rides nicely in your hand, with a palm-fitting profile and thumb-friendly front-panel controls. It's a bit shorter than an Apple iPod Mini, yet its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides 12 hours of continuous playback--50 percent more than iPod Mini's. The Zen Micro is compatible not merely with MP3s and WAV files, but with WMA as well. Toss in USB 2.0 connectivity and you're looking at one spiffy portable music player.

But playing isn't all the Zen Micro does. You can use it to receive FM radio (with 32 station presets to keep your favorites at the ready), and to record, either from the radio or from live sources such as voice dictation or lectures using the Zen Micro's built-in condenser microphone.

Trimmed in a luminescent blue glow and with easily visible backlit buttons, this stylish light blue player holds up to 1,250 songs (83 hours) at 128 kbps or 2,500 songs (166 hours) at lower-fidelity 64 kbps (MP3/WMA)--that's a solid week's worth of music listening, never playing the same song twice. A simple solution for those who like to keep their e61 out of scratches.

The case cover is clear plastic, too brittle for my taste. One of the sides did chip off upon installation. It does a great job at protecting however it is not a piece that will last six months unscathed. Despite it's drawbacks it's a custom solution to bigger problems and it will keep your phone safe from scratches dents and possibly minimize the chance it will break. I gave it a three out of five because it's too brittle and priced too high to consider replacing every couple of months.

This is a really great case. When I first received it, I was a bit skeptical. I really didn't think it would protect my phone very much because the plastic is pretty thin. However, I've found it to work very well.

I've dropped my phone at least 5 times since I've had this case, twice on concrete and once from above 3 feet. In one instance, the case popped off completely from the impact shock. You might read this and think, "I don't want a case that pops off." But what really happened is that the energy was transferred the phone to case, sending the case flying while my phone dropped softly to the ground - concrete actually, and not a single scratch, btw! [That was the only time it popped off; in all other drops it stayed on. None of the other drops has as much impact energy though.]

Another thing I like about this case is that it doesn't add bulk. I have found that most cases make your phone "feel" bigger than it really is because they add an extra layer of dark-colored plastic/leather/silicon/whatever. Not so with the clear case. This is about the same thickness as others, but the fact that it is clear and colorless makes it almost invisible.

The only disadvantage to this case is that it is plastic and will scratch over time. It does protect the screen, which is good, but as the scratches start to develop, your screen becomes less readable, especially in direct sunlight. My first case lasted about 4-5 months before I replaced it with a new one. I keep mine in my pocket. If it was in a purse, rolling around with keys and other items, it might not last as long.

I highly recommend this case for your E61.
