Now I know why some people call this drive DeathStar.......2007-03-23

I attempted to install the Hitachi DeskStar 7K160 Drive right after it arrived but unfortunately it was DOA. Wouldn't spin or start up, all it did was "click" (a sure sign of a dead drive). I went out and bought a Maxtor Drive which was immediatly recognized by my computer and installed without a hitch (or a click). I have since received an RMA from the Amazon vendor who sold me the Hitachi drive and was told I would receive a full refund once the drive arrives at their facility. I'm still waiting for them to send me a pre-paid FedEx shipping label so I can return the DeathStar.
