tmobile mda cradle destop with spare battery charger.......2007-05-27
Worked as advertised. No problems with charging phone with product.
Durable, reliable.......2007-02-14
I've used the cradle for months without any problem to date. I strongly recommend it. The only thing I'd have liked to change,it would have been unreasonable to expect.
The phone sits snugly in it's cradle. I wish it would work equally well when my phone was in its protective case. But my case is from another company, and if they made it to allow arbitrary cases, it couldn't fit my phone so well.
The spare battery recharger is trivial to use.
It works flawlessly without having drawn attention to itself.
I can't comment on the longterm use of the spare battery as I use it rarely, but I haven't had any complaints. If someone else has a review about its electrical properties, take their advice over mine.
Failed very quickly.......2007-01-12
I only used the item a few times and the power connector has broken off. I have requested help from vendor but have received no response.
Good product-poor instructions/packing material.......2007-01-10
The product works well, but it took a bit of a learning curve to determine that the MDA sitting upright in the cradle position will only charge if the USB connection is made to a commputer and not the wall plug.
The wall plug connection charges when the battery is removed from the MDA only. I had to augment the charging process by wedging a business card between the battery and housing to force the contact in order to get a good charge.
Also, the shipping box contained minimal packing material, the product raddled so much in the box, I held my fingers hoping it would work.
HTC T-Mobile MDA PDA Smartphone USB Twin Cradle Desktop Battery Charger.......2007-01-10
The HTC T-Mobile MDA PDA Smartphone USB Twin Cradle Desktop Battery Charger performs as advertised. However when I 1st received the charger unit the AC power supply receptacle had been completely pushed in and was completely unusable to charge the secondary separate battery. The mini-USB connector side of this device was fine as far as the 1st and the replaced unit was concerned. I personally don't believe that the reseller Amazon deals with in this case would have dealt with the 1st problem quickly via emailing judging from the emails I had received after I had returned the unit back to them as directed by the accompanying receipt. However 1 phone call yielded my replacement unit a couple of days later. I use the Twin Cradle mostly as a stand-up charger/sync/wireless modem with no problems whatsoever. The secondary charger however yielded only a trickle charge which takes a "dead" WIZA16 3.7 volt 1250mAh to full charge in about 3-4hrs. Too long for me as if I have the battery in the MDA using the supplied AC charger itself I can get from a "dead" battery to full chg in about an hour and a half. Once the secondary battery is charged the red to green indicator light will go to green and then turn itself off once the charge is completed. You don't know if the unit has completed its charging cycle or if something has interrupted it. Also if one looks at the very bright blue indicator light indicating power to the mini-USB connector side of this device I would have liked the secondary charging indicator to be that bright so that way I could see it across the room to instead of walking over and peering down the back of the device to see the red to green led while at the same time the blue USB led hurts my eyes even in "ambient" day window light. Despite it's quirks I still recommend this device to any PDA/MDA, Wizard user!
