The Zen Touch model HD0014 is compatible with both MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) music files, and its super-fast USB 2.0 PC interface loads your music in record time. Use the player's search function to locate music by song, album, or artist, scrolling quickly and easily through your library with the handy touch pad while viewing your playlists and song selections on the Zen Touch's 160 x 104 blue EL (electroluminescent) backlit LCD. You can create and customize your playlists on the fly, or listen in random order at the touch of a top-panel button.

The unit's four-band custom equalizer and preset EQ curves help you tailor the sound to your preference or environment. If you're delving into the world of digital music for the first time, supplied Creative MediaSource software readily converts your CDs to MP3s or WMAs, while Creative AudioSync seamlessly updates the Zen Touch with your latest music on your PC at the touch of a button. Creative Explorer (also included) permits drag-and-drop transfers for data and music files to and from the Zen Touch.

Fast, Quiet, reliable if you fix the connector.......2007-05-06

As other reviewers mentioned, the connection comes loose easily. It doesn't just come loose, it pushes itself out. Problem is the rubber portion of the plug contacts the housing, and doesn't let the metal lock tab connect. I trimmed about a 1/8 of inch of rubber away from the metal portion of the plug, and now I have a very solid and reliable connection.

An easy to use backup drive.......2007-03-26

I've been using this drive (actually, the 80GB version, which is exactly the same except for the drive size) for about a year now. It's easy to use, takes up very little space, and works perfectly. The good news is that it comes with easy to use software that allows you to choose what folders and files you want to backup and back them up with a click or two. The bad news is that you can't automatically schedule these backups so you have to remember to do them.

I purchased this particular drive for one of my co-workers and we use both of them as backups for our work computers.

Nice little external drive!.......2007-02-11

I bought the 120 gig drive today. VERY easy to set up and use, I use mine on a PPC Mac mini. The ONLY negative (as others have already mentioned) is the connection to the drive itself can come out very easily if you're not careful. Not a deal breaker but they should make that more tight and secure. Other then that the drive is EXTREMELY quiet and fast! I highly recommend it!

Great product but?.......2007-02-08

I recieved this product and was up and running in 60 seconds, very easy to use.
Drive is extremely fast ( at least on my machine ) and is the perfect size for on the go use, it is quite and generates no heat. One problem right out of the box was the usb cable won't stay plugged in the drive, very loose, if drive moved or bumped while working cable comes unplugged.
Not a big problem for me as most work done at home but may be problem for some.

I like the hard drive. It is convenient and simple to use. I think the connection into the hard driver could be a little more secure. Occasionally the cable gets disconnected.
