CTX's PD4600 46-inch plasma display delivers the crisp images, brilliant colors, and vivid brightness that you'd expect in a high-end, expensive plasma--but at a price that won't break the bank. It features a built-in standard, 181-channel NTSC tuner, and it's capable of HD (High Definition) and ED (Enhanced Definition) resolution for an even better picture, with an optional set-top box. It also offers built-in PAL and SECAM tuners, and is compatible with 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i, 525i, and 625i video formats.

This TV has an 852 x 480-pixel resolution and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for optimal viewing of high definition broadcasts and DVD movies. It also features a 160-degree viewing angle, 700 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 800:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) It offers the following video connections:

The Digital Video Interface (DVI) provides an uncompressed transfer of high definition video from a digital video source to a digital display device. HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection)ensures copy protection of the content.
