The Samsung PPM50H3 is a 50" flat panel plasma display featuring a sleek and compact design offering a rich and diverse feature set. For starters, it's ultra-slim at only 3.1 inches in depth while incorporating a high native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels making it ideal for high content video and detailed graphics for powerful presentations. The PPM50H3 introduces Samsung's DNIe noise reduction and digital detail and color enhancement algorithm resulting in spectacular image quality even in the tiniest of details. The Samsung PPM50H3 is versatile, too. It can be used with a PC and with various video formats such as C-Video, S-Video, DTV, and HDTV applications simultaneously without even a hint of compatibility problems. The PPM63H3 also includes vertical mounting capabilities, a built in video wall processor, and provides picture by picture for video conferencing applications. A universal remote control makes accessing all of its features quick and convenient while a built-in 7W x 7W stereo audio amplifier and a pair of optional slimline speakers make adding audio to your Samsung PPM50H3 a snap.

The 1376 x 768-pixel progressive resolution showcases 16.7 billion vibrant colors, and its 160-degree horizontal viewing angle provides a great entertainment experience from anywhere in the room. It has a multi-layer anti-reflection filter and several burn-in protection features (auto pixel shift, signal pattern processor, all-white). It features a 900:1 contrast ratio with a 800 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating. This set comes with table-top feet, and it can be wall or ceiling mounted with optional bracket accessories.
The Samsung Digital Natural Image engine (DNIe) Video Enhancer refines all analog NTSC and wideband video inputs for an overall improvement in picture quality.
