A few flaws but a good value.......2007-03-05

This 4GB drive is tiny and a bargain compared to other brands. However it is not without a few flaws.

The cap, which is supposed to clip onto the back of the drive when in use, is loose and falls off when you clip it on the back. I just threw away the cap.

The drive also comes with "U3" software. Why do computer peripheral manufacturers always want to cram useless software onto our systems? As a Mac user I don't want or need "U3" so I had to visit a special web site [...] and find a Windows computer to remove it. You can't just ignore the software because it makes the drive appear like two drives on your desktop -- the regular flash drive and a "fake" CD-ROM drive with a Windows setup program. Once the U3 software is removed, the drive works just fine.
