I don't have any problems with my signal strength at all. I recently had to trade in my old MDA because I've dropped it so much that the battery case broke off of the back, there were scratches all over it and the slider screen was very loose. This is great protection for someone like me. You can access all the ports, it has a good cushion on the inside and it's very sturdy with an equally sturdy belt clip.

The downside is that it is a little bulky, but for me, that's a small price to pay. Also, the last time I dropped my MDA, I lost my 2GB sd card. I just wish this would cover that opening as well, but overall, I would recommend this case. Most of the time when I dropped my phone, it was because I was trying to get it out of the old case when it was ringing. With this case, you don't have to take it out at all...not to charge it, not to use it, not to take pictures, or anything. It's a highly functional case. Just be aware that you can still lose your stylus or memory card if it's dropped.

This thing almost kill the signal, some other metallic cases seems to have this problems, the cases looks OK and it is hard and very good for protecting the mda but raise down all kind of signals.
