The Philips AZ1518 CD radio/cassette recorder boombox has a sleek silver finish and hip, compact design. The top-loading motorized CD player features 20-track programming with shuffle and repeat options. The unit is CD-RW compatible, so it's capable of playing both CD-RW and CD-R discs. The single cassette deck can record from the CD player or AM/FM tuner. The cassette player features automatic recording level control and synchro-start recording for quality dubs with no wasted tape.
A pair of 4-inch full-range speakers offers dynamic sound, while a bass boost switch enhances all your favorite music. A six-digit LCD display provides track information. The 23-key digital remote control (batteries included) runs all the unit's operations. The Philips AZ1518 features AC/DC operation and also runs on six D batteries.
