I guess I didn't understand the word "pouch". You have to pull the phone out of the case to use it. No thanks. I returned it.

(UPDATE: I ALREADY DROPPED MY PHONE FROM THIS POUCH...I WAS CARRYING THE PHONE IN THE CASE AND WALKING. THE PHONE JUST SLIPPED OUT FROM THE POUCH, FELL DOWN AND DID SOMERSAULT...DAMN...4 SCRATCHES ALREADY IN MY CUTE PHONE. THIS IS ENOUGH FOR YOU TO SAY NO TO THIS CASE. I AM RETURNING THE CASE...)

I bought Samsung T629 few weeks back and realized I definitely need a case for it as it is very glossy and easy to get broken when dropped...

I researched online for a while and found this as the only matching case for my phone (I bet no other case is custom made for this phone by samsung or other)

but after using it for few days, I really doubt. This is not at all a good fit for my phone. It just serves as a holder. see the pros and cons:

Pros:

1) This is the Samsung recommended case for the phone


Cons:

1) The upper part is completely exposed so if you drop it, you are at 50% chance of damaging your phone. It's easy for the phone to get slipped down from the upper exposed part.
2) You cannot dial numbers so you have to take the phone out of the pounch to make calls
3) Even pressing the menu buttons exposed through the pouch is very very difficult
4) I always have a little fear of my phone getting dropped from the pouch or the whole phone & pouch getting dropped...I dont know why but could be because there is not top cover, and the belt clip is not that strong.
5) You cannot use camera while keeping it in but I dont have any idea why they have a opening for just the camera button....poor design.
6) You cannot remove the belt clip from the case so it is very very bulky. Dont even think of putting it in your pocket. The phone is ultra thin and this case gives the phone 4x thickness...

mmm so I am not at all satisfied with this case, shame on samsung for coming up with this bad case for the very good phone.
